A “face-lift” was given to the exterior with EIFS applications and new roofing to give the station a look consistent with other city stations and the thriving community where it resides.
New Entrances were carved out of the façade to establish destination for Fire/Rescue and Police Departments.
Truck Bays were enhanced to provide for Fire Fighting, Rescue and Training vehicles

This conversion of the dated Myrtle Beach Air Force Motor Pool Building, used for Maintenance and repair of Air Force Ground Vehicles proved challenging, with this transformation into a new state of the art Fire / Rescue and Police facility, including Emergency Operations Center and maintenance.
