This sports complex, nestled in the Market Common Development, provides the city with a multi-functional park to facilitate city athletics, softball and baseball, and soccer tournaments, festivals, exercise and leisure for the Myrtle Beach residents and tourists. The project was the first phase of a master planned development, which includes 7 baseball/softball fields, 2 youth baseball fields, 3 Control Tower/Concession Stand buildings, Maintenance and Storage buildings and Ticket Booth.

The first phase included 3 baseball/softball fields, Control Tower and associated maintenance and support buildings.

The buildings were designed to be functional with ease of access and visibility to all fields and spectator seating.

The exterior was adorned with a low country styling, to partner with the Market Common design character, utilizing Hardi Siding and stucco for a low maintenance façade with an inviting appeal.
